Data access request
How a data extract (Article 15 GDPR) works at Personalkollen
When you want to obtain your personal data from Personalkollen, for example schedules, hours worked, or employment information it is important to understand the following:
Personalkollen is a data processor
We process your data on behalf of your employer. This means we are not permitted to disclose any information directly to you without their instructions.
Your request must be directed to your employer
According to GDPR Article 15, it is the employer, the data controller, who must receive and handle requests for data extracts.
If you contact us directly
We are unfortunately not allowed to provide the information ourselves.
Instead, we will:
• explain our limitations under the General data protection regulation, and
• refer you to your employer, or
• if needed, forward your request to them for processing.
We cannot disclose information without instruction
Even if you need the information for, for example, legal proceedings, we are not allowed to provide anything directly without explicit approval from the employer.
The employer is responsible for the documentation
It is your employer who must:
• provide you with access to the data they hold,
• inform you about what may have been deleted, and
• respond to you in accordance with the General data protection regulation.
